Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 28.07.26

Thank you for visiting my website and for supporting independent art. I want you to feel confident when purchasing from me, so these Terms & Conditions explain how orders are placed, processed and fulfilled, along with your rights as a customer.

By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “I”, “me” and “my” refer to Sandrya. “You” and “your” refer to the customer or visitor using this website.

1. About This Website

This website is owned and operated by Sandrya, an independent artist based in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

The purpose of this website is to showcase and sell original artwork, prints and other creative products, as well as provide information about commissions, workshops and related services.

2. Products

Every effort is made to ensure that product descriptions, photographs and prices are accurate.

As my artwork is handmade, slight variations may occur. These are part of the character and uniqueness of the work and should not be regarded as defects.

Original artworks are one of a kind and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

3. Availability

Many of my artworks are also displayed at exhibitions, open studios and art fairs.

While I make every effort to keep website stock levels up to date, there may occasionally be a delay.

If an artwork has already been sold elsewhere before the website inventory has updated, I will contact you as soon as possible and issue a full refund.

4. Pricing

All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (ยฃ).

Prices may change without notice, however you will always pay the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be calculated during checkout before payment is completed.

5. Placing an Order

By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate.

An order confirmation email acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute acceptance.

Your order is accepted once payment has been successfully processed and I have confirmed that the item is available.

If I am unable to fulfil your order for any reason, I will contact you promptly and provide a full refund.

6. Payment

Payments are processed securely through trusted third-party payment providers available during checkout.

I never receive or store your payment card details.

7. Delivery

Estimated dispatch times are provided as a guide and may occasionally vary.

Delivery times depend on the postal or courier service once your order has been dispatched.

Tracking information will be provided where applicable.

If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time, please contact me and I will do my best to help.

Please see the Delivery Information page for further details.

8. Returns & Refunds

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms & Conditions.

If you change your mind about a physical item, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order, provided it is returned unused, in its original condition and, where possible, in its original packaging.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or has been supplied in error.

Refunds will be made to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected.

Please see the Returns & Refunds page for full details.

9. Product Images

I make every effort to display artwork as accurately as possible.

However, colours may vary slightly between different screens and devices. Minor colour differences should not be considered a fault.

Unless otherwise stated, any frames shown in photographs are for display purposes only and are not included with your purchase.

Where a frame is included, this will be clearly stated on the individual product page.

10. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All artwork, photographs, images, text, designs and other content on this website remain the intellectual property of Sandrya unless otherwise stated.

Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Artwork may not be copied, reproduced, scanned, published, distributed, used commercially or incorporated into other works without prior written permission.

11. Commissions

Commission enquiries are always welcome.

Before work begins, we will agree the scope of the commission, artwork specifications, price, estimated completion time and payment arrangements in writing.

Where applicable, a non-refundable deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance will be payable before the artwork is dispatched unless otherwise agreed.

Reasonable progress updates may be provided during the creative process.

Minor amendments may be possible at agreed stages. Significant changes to the agreed brief after work has commenced may incur additional charges.

As commissioned artwork is created specifically for you, it cannot usually be cancelled or returned once work has begun, except where required by law or where the artwork is faulty.

Unless otherwise agreed, I reserve the right to photograph completed commissioned artwork for my portfolio, website, exhibitions and promotional material.

12. Authenticity

All original artworks are created by Sandrya.

Original artworks are signed by the artist and, where stated in the product description, are supplied with a Certificate of Authenticity.

The Certificate of Authenticity should be kept safely as proof of authenticity.

13. Packaging

Every order is carefully packaged by hand to help ensure it arrives safely.

Original artworks are protected using appropriate archival materials and sturdy packaging suitable for transit.

If your order arrives damaged, please contact me within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of both the packaging and the item so that I can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

14. Digital Downloads

Where digital products are available, they are supplied electronically. No physical item will be posted.

Once a digital product has been downloaded or accessed, it cannot usually be refunded unless it is faulty or does not match its description, in accordance with your statutory rights.

Digital products are licensed for personal use only unless otherwise stated.

They may not be copied, shared, redistributed, resold or used commercially without prior written permission.

15. Gift Cards & Promotional Offers

Where gift cards, discount codes or promotional offers are available, they are subject to their own terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, only one promotional code may be used per order.

Promotions may be withdrawn or amended at any time.

16. Website Availability

I aim to keep this website available and up to date.

However, I cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and reserve the right to suspend, modify or update the website without notice for maintenance or other operational reasons.

17. Limitation of Liability

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of products through it.

My total liability in relation to any order shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.

18. Privacy

Your privacy is important.

Any personal information collected through this website is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from the use of this website or purchases made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
